Step Up 4 Autism is a community-based organization registered in Kenya that focuses on improving the lives of children with autism through creating intervention programs and creating autism awareness and acceptance.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), commonly referred to as Autism, is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects thousands of children and adults in Kenya. The condition is characterized by challenges in socializing, behaviour, speech and nonverbal communication. Those living with Autism are often ostracized by society as a result of ignorance on the condition. This ignorance also leads to misdiagnosis and exploitation of those living with Autism. Therefore, there is a definite need for increased Autism awareness in Kenya.

Free Therapy Center at Mathare, Nairobi along Juja road, opposite the Moi Airbase
Light, Mr & Mrs Autism Kenya
To raise more awareness and bring out the talents of children and adults with autism we made the Light, Mr. and Miss Autism Kenya pageant.
Autism Awareness Race/Caregivers training
Through this race we brought together hundreds of children and adults with special needs together with their parents and caregivers joined by community members
