As an organization, we have successfully navigated advocacy efforts, both with and without challenges, utilizing a multifaceted approach to raise awareness. In 2021, during the pandemic’s peak, we were honored to join forces with WAAD UN and feature our autistic champion advocate, Sarah Bosibori. The 2021 World Autism Awareness Day agenda, led by the United Nations, focused on ‘Inclusion in the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World,’ featuring virtual events on April 8, including panel discussions by autistic individuals on pandemic-related inequalities and remote work opportunities, highlighting the need for governments, civil society, and businesses to collaborate in creating education-to-employment pathways, with key messages emphasizing acceptance, neurodiversity, and harnessing technology for inclusion.

Climate Change-Nature- by conserving trees and learning it’s importance, provides a powerful lessons on climate change, and also serves as a therapeutic resource for individuals with autism,in engagement, inclusion and communication, and emotional regulation by offering adaptable, outdoor environments that reduce stress and offer sensory experiences, supporting comprehensive development and social connection through activities like gardening, planting trees, water-based activities, and nature walks confidence
