Light, Mr. and Mrs. Autism Kenya

To raise more awareness and bring out the talents of children and adults with autism we made the Light, Mr. and Miss Autism Kenya pageant. The pageant aims to raise Autism awareness by selecting the three main ambassadors for the Autism community in Kenya; The Light of Autism Kenya who is either a male or female with autism, Mr. Autism a male without autism and Miss Autism Kenya a female without autism. The light of autism Kenya who is (atypical)a person male or female living with autism represents the strengths, hopes, aspiration, dreams, and challenges of persons with autism while Mr. and Miss Autism Kenya who are(neurotypicals) people living without autism represent the support, encouragement, acceptance, and voice that the society should give to people with autism and other developmental disorders. All the funds raised through the Light and Miss Autism Kenya are channelled towards autism awareness campaigns and the provision of free therapy services.
